Aloha Kanuikapono Ohana,

We look forward to seeing our students back tomorrow, Wednesday September 16. Though we still have a couple of concerns, the campus is safe and ready for us to return. We anticipate the power to lower campus being restored in the next couple of days. We will still be releasing students at the normal Wednesday time of 1:00pm.

Please read the following:

1. All students should wear shoes or slippers while outside. Though we have looked for debris, we want to make sure the students’ wawae are safe.

2. We will have full transportation services before and after school.

3. Secondary students should be prepared for outdoor types of activities.

4. We anticipate a shower trailer being available for use for a couple of hours in the morning. If your students have not been able to shower please let them know we may have an opportunity for them to do so. They should bring a towel, toiletries, and clothes to change into if needed. We will also have some supplies if they are not able to provide them.

5. If your family or families near you are in need of any supplies, including food, water, clothes, medical supplies, etc…, please let us know so that we can help.

We would like to thank all of the families who have helped us get the campus ready and ask for your continued patience as navigate this return.

Mahalo Nui Loa,

David Dooley, Ed.D
